Shanghai International Wine Challenge 2011 (SIWC 2011)

When it comes to wine, China is proving to be an essential market. And not just for Bordeaux. Hundreds of wines from all over the world will be judged in a blind tasting next month in Shanghai.

Date: 5th – 7th September, 2011

Venue: Shanghai Waigaoqiao International Exhibition & Trading Center of Wine & Beverage

Supervised by the Shanghai Composite Bonded Area Administrative Committee and the Shanghai Pudong Alcohol Monopoly Bureau, the Shanghai International Wine Challenge (SIWC) is the first international professional commodity competition located in the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone.

Held annually since 2006, the SIWC will allow international wine connoisseurs to taste over 500 wines blind, so that Chinese wine lovers can appreciate a fair and neutral, equitable and open evaluation.
